Prior to joining The Washington Campus, Maya served as a Meeting & Events Coordinator with CBRE at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center, where she managed a large portfolio of events and collaborated with cross-functional teams to execute high-profile programs. She also gained nonprofit event management and development experience through internships with the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation and the United States Tennis Association Mid-Atlantic Foundation, where she contributed to event planning, grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement.
Maya earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia in 2025 with a minor in Health, Ethics & Society.
